Day of the Child is now cancelled. Questions?
DOTC 2020 is now cancelled. We hope to return next year. We want to thank all of our volunteers, sponsors and attendees for supporting our event. The event’s theme is Children’s Opportunities, Our Responsibilities. The event is a free family event that provides resources to keep children safe, healthy and well informed of services in the community.
The event focuses on providing a safe and healthy environment for young people by promoting family/community togetherness. Over 100 informational and interactive booths are anticipated to outreach and serve children and families. There will be plenty of fun activities such as entertainment, face painting, performers, dance contests, puppets, magic show, story time, games and much more. The Day of the Child event is designed to introduce kids and families to healthy and interactive activities.
Local community-based organizations will be providing invaluable information on children’s health, safety, educational brochures and interactive activities. At the main stage, entertainment will include performances by local schools and local talent. A second stage will feature interactive activities, including story reading, dance contests, raffles, and much more. Giveaways and other interactive entertainment will be part of the event program, as well. Last year (2019), the Day of the Child Community Fair had over 130 informational and interactive booths that served approximately 5,000 children and families in attendance. Exhibitors Register below. Guests admission is FREE. You can RSVP on our Facebook Event and click Attending!
