Day of the Child is currently postponed due to COVID-19. Thanks to our sponsors who had committed their support! We are looking forward to being able to have a DOTC in the future.
DOTC will return in the future. We want to thank all of our volunteers, sponsors, and attendees for supporting our event. The event’s theme is Children’s Opportunities, Our Responsibilities. The event is a free family event that provides resources to keep children safe, healthy, and well-informed of services in the community.
The event focuses on providing a safe and healthy environment for young people by promoting family/community togetherness. Over 100 informational and interactive booths are anticipated to outreach and serve children and families. There will be plenty of fun activities such as entertainment, face painting, performers, dance contests, puppets, magic shows, storytime, games, and much more. The Day of the Child event is designed to introduce kids and families to healthy and interactive activities.
