Signs of the Tide Community Meeting: Come learn more about contaminated material along the bottom of the bay and its effect on the wildlife and the people of San Diego
A local environmental leader entrenched with the toxic cleanup case will cover the scope of the project including what's involved in removing all material across a sixty-acre site.
An environmental justice advocate will address the issues South Bay and Central San Diego communities face on a daily basis, and how the decade-long delay in cleanup affects the neighborhoods along the bay.
A community activist will share his/her own experiences fighting for a cleaner environment and will demonstrate why community involvement is key.
One of our very own San Diego Coastkeeper staff members will tell you all the ways you can get involved to make sure your voice gets heard in the push for safer water.
