Join us for the 3rd Annual Comienza con un Sueño FREE Conference on MArch 6th, 2010 from 8am to 12pm at the UCSD Price Center Theater. Please join us for breakfast and a morning of educational workshops, speakers, and fun activities. Parents and ALL 6th - 9th grade students are invited. Presentations will be in English and Spanish, they will range from: Plan for College, College Success, Career Paths and Arts & Culture. FREE Parking in the Gilman Parking Structure.

The CVCC will be holding its first bi-annual Promotor conference on June 11th, 2010. All Promotoras are invited to attend. The conference will provide an opportunity for networking, learning best practices in the Promotora field and building capacity. 10th Annual Day of the Child Event |

The Chula Vista Community Collaborative is proud to bring you the 10th Annual Day of the Child Event on Saturday, April 24th. The event will take place in Memorial Bowl Park, Chula Vista from 11am-3pm. This will be a fun filled day of activities and entertainment for children and their families. This is an opportunity for select local organizations and businesses to showcase their services and products, which contribute to building healthy kids and families. Let us know if you’d like to participate by providing an interactive activity/booth, and we’ll reserve a display area for you. Space is limited and there is no cost to participate. There is a new location for this support group in the South Bay. Meetings are held in an atmosphere that is warm and friendly. Anyone who has lost a family member or friend to suicide is invited to attend. Meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Look for SOSL sign.
